This is my sixth year teaching first grade at Grand Ridge Elementary. I'm so excited to be teaching in the district where I received such a wonderful education. I was fortunate to go to school in the Issaquah School District from kindergarten all the way through high school graduation (I went to Challenger, Beaver Lake, and Skyline)!

 

I received my bachelor's degree in communications from Washington State University. After working in the public relations industry for five years, I knew that something was missing and that I needed to be in the classroom. I decided to go back to school and earned by master's degree in elementary education from the University of Washington. Don't worry, my fellow WSU alumni; I will always be a COUG at heart!

 

I love spending time with my family and friends; exploring the outdoors with my husband, daughter, and our two French Bulldogs; playing soccer; and cheering for the Seahawks!
