In first grade at Grand Ridge, students will not be receiving daily homework. However, I highly recommend reading with your child at home every day.

READ! READ! READ! Reading or being read to at least 20 minutes a day will help increase a student's fluency, comprehension, and a love of reading!

PLANNERS: Please initial your student's planner each night after they read the daily message to you. Planners should be returned the next day along with their green folder. I will be checking student planners at the beginning of each day - this is a great place to leave me a quick note, update or question!

Thank you for your support and commitment to your student's success in first grade!
